Intertextuality is a feature of Goodwin's theory. It is when one media text references other media texts, to involve the audience closer as they have seen it before from the original text.
Here, P!nk's video, Stupid Girls is referencing the film Dukes of Hazzard. This is effective as the reference is related to the lyrics, and so emphasises them meaning of her lyrics by matching it with visuals.

This allows the audience to connect to the episode a lot more as they have seen the video before, and creates a fun and interesting way of involving its audience on a deeper level.
