My target audience for my artist is generally aimed at males ages 18-30. The reason for this specific age range and gender is because they would be the common people that would listen to this genre of music and could reflect upon the lyrics within his songs. Aaaron's style of branding is designed to attract them as his clothing sense is one that is casual and is a representation of other males around his age.
Current artists on the music scene such as Newton Faulkner and Damien Rice also have a target audience of the type of people I'm aiming at. They also dress in casual apparel to illustrate themselves as an ordinary looking male, which is what I intend to do with my artist.
Additionally the subjects and tone of these two artist's are very similar to that of Aaron's. Their songs involve solemn subjects, such as love and heart-break. Their tone of voice can have elements of that to Aaron's as well, as they both can express deep emotions through their deepened and slow-paced voices. And so I think that Aaron Roberts would fit perfectly within this niche of artist's as they all share common elements from each other.
